DESIGNING FABRICS
In my past career I have designed exclusive fabrics in collaboration with high-end global fashion brands including :
In the UK: Burberry, Turnbull & Asser, Alfred Dunhill, Thomas Pink, Hackett, Aquascutum, Gieves & Hawkes, Paul Smith, Margaret Howell Richard James, Jaeger, Hilditch&Key, Mulberry.
In USA:Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Brooks Brothers; JAPAN: Comme de Garcons; FRANCE: Facconable, Charvet; ITALY: Valentino, Etro, Aspesi; HONG KONG: Ascot Chang.
Fabrics that I've designed have been often worn by HRH The Prince of Wales, rock musicians, Hollywood actors and very many others.
It's been a wonderful experience and I hope all that love of colour and style will continue to influence my ongoing work.
PAINTING EXHIBITIONS
During 2020 Three of my botanical paintings were accepted for "Plantae 2020" which was due to show in June 2020 at The Mall Galleries in London SW1. Unfortunately due to the global pandemic the exhibition was unable to be hung. My three paintings were however shown in the alternative digital exhibition.
A further painting of Liriodendron tulipifera also featuring Xanthoria Sp.was accepted by the Florilegium of the Royal Botanical Garden in Edinburgh. This painting has been on show in " Florilegium - A gathering of flowers" from October -December 2020 at Inverleith House in Edinburgh, and it will subsequently also become a part of their permanent collection.
